STRENGTHS: This Kitsune is incredibly focused on glamour and its many uses. She is particularly fond of applying different glamours to her keeper for whatever extra bounce their energies may need. Be it magnetic appeal for networking or boosting how confident they appear in a social setting, Koriku can shift your energetic ebb and flow in nearly all situations. Of course, she is also willing to work against her keeper with pranks to teach them a lesson if they need one.
PERSONALITY: Koriku acts entirely innocent, in spite of usually being the cause of any and all mischief. She is very social, making friends with many people and quite focused on forming connections at every opportunity. She retains deep connections, looking to help all of her friends better themselves in some way. She can seem a bit silly sometimes, especially if stressful things are happening. While it may feel like she isn't taking you seriously, in all reality, she is trying to find a way to make you smile or laugh; she strives to help one realize that the negative isn't everything left in the world.
APPEARANCE: She is a little on the shorter side, her build slim. She doesn't have overly noticeable curves, her frame more androgynous than feminine. Her soft features are distinctly Japanese, her skin on the fair side with yellow undertones. Her eyes are a deep violet color, her long, flowing hair an ash brown color. She doesn't retain her tails or ears in this form, often wearing kimono with sleeves that cover her hands. In her fox form, she is an ash brown fox with five tails. Her tails each have a white ring, her paws all white as well. Her eyes are the same deep violet, emphasized by white markings going down the length of her muzzle and curling over the top of her eyes.

Koriku, Female Kitsune
Kitsune are fox spirits that originated in Japan. They primarily work with illusion magic and have an ability called "fox fire" which looks almost like a will-o-wisp. Their energy and magic is very distinct. They are an often flirtatious race of spirits, and their colors depend on their amount of tails. In the group of Kitsune that I work with, the most powerful kitsune are white kitsune, who have survived for long lengths of time. They go from black to white throughout their time as a spirit, gaining tails as they gain magic abilities.
They are well known for pranking and general mischief-making throughout Japan, and can hurt people when not really meaning to. As spirits, though, they're a lot of fun and tend to lean on the protective side. They cause mischief and punish those that would otherwise attempt to harm their keeper. They are very energetic beings with vibrations that are easier to pick up on for beginning keepers.
Perhaps the largest benefit to having a Kitsune around is their ability to aid in ritual work and spellweaving. They are almost intuitive with the flow of energies, and can certainly enhance the work you're already doing. They are often looking to share their knowledge, no matter how goofy they act, and can certainly be helpful when they're not more interested in a prank or a plan.
