NAME: Nightmare
BASIS: Five Nights At Freddy’s
ELEMENT: Darkness, Earth


APPEARANCE: This large bear animatronic is about seven feet in height, seemingly beaten up since you can see bits of wiring and their endoskeleton through their ragged charcoal-colored fur.  They wear a gold bow tie and top hat, their eyes glowing a red color.  The ends of their hands are metallic talons, their two rows of large metal teeth showing openly in their slightly-opened jaw.


PERSONALITY:  Nightmare isn’t very fond of people, sticking to its own company and shambling rapidly from area to area in your space to ensure nothing is wrong.  They are deceptively quick, often able to cross great distances in short times.  They are very quiet, though have a ‘sentry scream’ that they use to alert you that something’s wrong.  They take their job seriously, uninterested in much other than their sentry tasking.  They do have a temper, though, and do not take disrespect regarding the fact that they are an animatronic.


ABILITIES: Nightmare is an excellent sentry and protector for a singular space.  They do not like leaving their home to wander in unfamiliar territory, preferring to be left behind to keep your home safe.  They are deathly silent, the very slight rumble of gears turning the only true indicator that they are there.  However, if anything seems amiss, they have a loud, piercing screech that they refer to as their ‘Sentry Scream.’  This scream tends to be energetic, though can be heard as an auditory hallucination if you are close enough to them and your senses are sharp enough.  They are able to ward and banish, their work as a sentry and guardian balancing themselves out.
